The belgian SUBARU Club present the TOUR OF FLANDERS!  

Yes, a Belgian meet again ! Driving towards spring on March 25^th ! 

At 9 am (GMT + 1 J ) the doors of Subaru dealer Troch - Gentsesteenweg 145 Erpe-Mere (near Gent) open wide for a warm welcome and a glimpse of the new Subaru models & accessories. 

Next the early birds leave for a great drive round the "Pajottenland" area, with the well-known "wall of Geraardsbergen" (think cycling …) as a special.  We will visit the Liefmans brewery in Oudenaarde (think beer, OK J ) and have a guided tour. Mind you: expensive: will cost you 100 BEF (1.5 UKP) ! (only cost of the day BTW)

If you can't make it in the morning, you can still join us at lunch time. Just come to the Vandervalck restaurant in Eke (E17 direction of Kortrijk). 

We start again 'round 1 PM for a second tour through the Flemish Ardennes and the "Zwalm" area (do those Belgian places have silly names or what ?)  We will visit a few pubs, and do some small "on-foot" trips throughout the day.   

All this fun ends at about 5 PM, where again we gather at the same Vandervalck restaurant. 

The meet is organised together with the Belgian MX-5 club, and we expect a Donkervoort, some Lotuses, Evo's and … a very very special guest ! (only in the morning though). 

Details:

-To get to the Troch dealership: E40 Gent-Brussels, exit 18 Erpe-Mere, N46 towards Aalst/Lede/Erpe. Follow this road until the "Vijfhuizen" crossing. Go left there (N9) towards Gent, 500 meters up to the Troch building at the left. 

-Vandervalck is the first restaurant you meet on the E17 driving from Gent to Kortrijk, just after the “Zwijnaarde” crossing.

Each participant will practice with his car. 3 adrenaline laps co-driving a Lancer Evolution Group N rally car and a photo shooting will be included.

It is a great advantage to have different kind of gravel roads and training centers in Finland. This possibility and our knowledge has produced a lot of world famous rally drivers. The huge amount of knowhow is in your use by our experienced teachers and top drivers.

We do not have "starter packages" or "come and drive days", this is more for a drivers with some experience and they are seriously thinking their carrier in motorsports.

We are training the driver in many subjects, not only in driving. To get a top in a rallysports, you have to have incredible lot of different kind of abilities. We have lessons about technical knowledge, making pacenotes, taking care of fittnes, psycological aspects, planning and targets of driving carrier, marketing and communication.

We are using Finnish top drivers to analyze and to teach drivers. Sometimes it is very useful to sit beside and to look at what the top drivers are doing behind the steering wheel. Our target is to find out individually how to improve your speed and performance.

We have a training center about 80 kilometers from Helsinki and we have also wide range of rally roads in use about 190 kilometers from Helsinki. We are able to offer also four wheel rally cars for training.

We have education programs for co-drivers, too. There seems to be always lack of good co-drivers. We are able to show you how seriously professional co-drivers are doing their work. There are a lot of things you can improve your skills.

myevo.com had been at the first Frauenfeld national (SWISS) slalom:

29/30 Mai 2000: Sunshine, a lot of spectators and over 400 drivers token part to these magnificient track days. Lotus Elise, Porsches, but also 4 Lancer Evo VI and about 8 Subaru Impreza Turbo went at the start and offered a superbe entertainement for all the spectators. On a 2.8 km slalom track, each driver gave his best. 

To improve your driving capabilities and knowledge of your car myevo.com is preparing some activities:

Trackday: Professionals will teach how to control the car with finesse and to understand their upper limits.  The first - 001.00 - meeting will take place in switzerland on a weekend. myevo.com will organise the event in all details. Ideas and propositions - help too - are welcome. If you are interested to take part -family and children are welcome - sent us an email now. We will contact you as soon as possible.  

We will also organise a trip to a WRC Rally in Europe - Greece or Corsica. 

All our activities are intended not only for Mitsubishi drivers, but also for all the people interested in motorsports, from Alfa GTV to Porsche GT3, you are wellcome.
