Excel Motorsport was founded in 1999, we are a small UK based company consisting of David Fletcher and Brian Lambeth, specialising in the
preperation of Mitsubishi rally cars, from complete builds to minor service and repair, we also cater for customers that have their own cars and only require rally support.


Prior to the formation of Excel Motorsport Ltd, David Fletcher's past motorsport experience was with off road racing and endurance events, both the building of the cars and competing as far as North Africa and Russia, obtaining an overall win in a six day endurance event in the Ukraine.

Brian Lambeth's history includes time spent with,
Ralliart UK, MIT Motorsport Taiwan and Derek Warwick Motorsport.

We currently support the Falken World Rally Team, Evo V & VI (Driver Reece Jones, Co Driver Leo Bult both from New Zealand), on selected WRC Group N events, for 2001 we will be competing in Corsica (Tour de Corse) and UK (Network Q).

We have just completed the full build of an Evo V for a customer who will be competing in the British ANCRO Series.

We are also in the process of building a group N Evo to compete in the Toshiba Irish Tarmac Championship 2001.

We are dealers for Motec engine managment systems, we have alloy dump valves, header tanks, power steering tanks, radiators, uprated intercoolers, fuel tanks, water injection tanks,
front and rear strut braces and silicon hose kits all to suit the Evo IV, V, VI.
