What?

This is a VCD - 'Video Compact Disc'. It contains your full-motion video along with quality stereo sound in MPG compression. The quality is better then a VHS videotape.

Where?

A VCD can be played on almost all stand alone DVD Players and of course on all computers with a DVD-ROM with the help of a software based decoder / player like:

Cinematograph - http://home14.inet.tele.dk/cvs
WinDVD - http://www.intervideo.com
PowerDVD - http://www.softwareoasis.net
Jiao MPEGPlayer - ftp://ftp.simptel.net
Windows Media Player - http://windowsmedia.com/download/download.asp
Xing Player - http://www.xingtech.com

The video can also be seen on a standard CD-ROM drive with the Windows Media Player!

If you want to see it at the best quality on your stand alone DVD check if your DVD player is a PAL system player . If your system it's not a PAL system then we can't garantee an optimal reproduction quality on your TV. You will have to see it on the PC.

How?

On stand alone VCD, just insert it and press the "play" button. On software players VCD/MPG for the PC, insert the VCD and locate the dat file in the MPEGAV folder that you open with a MPG player like Windows Media Player. With some really good player like PowerDVD or Cinematograph or WinDVD it's just to insert the VCD and hit play and it will autoplay the VCD. Use a low resolution, like 640x480, on the monitor when watching a VCD to get best quality.
