swiss rally championship

The tyre choice was very important and many drivers who had only intermediate tyres had to slow down or had no chance to fight for the win.

As usual the four wheel drive cars made the pace and Jacquillard with his yellow-green Subaru Impreza WRC won this rally. Sulmoni with his Lancer Evolution VI by GTO Evolution made a good race and learned to use his new Mitsubishi carefully. Then this cars are very fast but also very tricky. The second GTO car driven by Althaus crashed and confirmed the theory: Don't fly ( in the ral sense of this word...) if you don't know the soul of this car. As usual in the swiss championship a lot of Peugeot 106 Rallye, Saxo and Clio showed an interesting spectacle and their drivers fighted till late in the night...
